Cool place to go. Came out about 8:30 pm cool calm atmosphere. People are having a good time however quiet enough to have a normal conversation. This place has one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Their fries are equally good. Next time I'm in the area I will definitely stop by. Bartenders were friendly and poured well balanced drinks that taste good and have enough alcohol to make you happy. I can't reccomend this place enough

As a student and fan of history that grew up just a few neighborhoods north of here, can't be prouder to give nothing but positive reviews for the OG of Northern Liberties "coolness". Seriously, this was the place that started to attract people's attention to NoLibs as a place to not only visit, but also live. After more than two decades in business, they're still slinging out drinks and serving up good food. The beer and drink selection is usually great and the food is good, but a bit inconsistent. That said, ask your server/bartender for their recommendations (which is an industry tip anywhere you go). The "standard" pub fare is always top notch. The staff remains friendly and the owners/managers are easy to work with if you're looking for something special - like event planning options or just looking for answers to questions.

Ate a burger here. It was a solid burger. Bun was great idk what the secret sauce was that was also awesome menu says 10 I paid 11 for the burger but still solid burger. It’s kinda standard now to have to order burger and fries separate. With they came together but actually love the option to. Not get fries because your out drinking don’t wanna eat all that so burger solo was perfect.

Really nice multilevel establishment with lots of great personality in the decor and the wooden cozy rooms. There were neat paintings and an ambient disco ball. We ordered as a group of 6, some oysters and burgers and fries. They had the skinny fries with the skin on. We were seated pretty much immediately at 7pm on a Friday night which is nice. Good strong cocktails. Really nice way to start our night with dinner and some drinks!

Excellent find. Great atmosphere awesome service and everything we ordered from beer to food was delicious. Each meal was unique and a work of art. Highly recommend. A MUST GO!

This place is great. It’s amazing to see a place that’s been around and still clearly putting in the effort to be better all the time. Service is great. We love upstairs and downstairs. Cool outside area. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere is what drew us to standard tap. The outside looks like a cute German pub and and inside is wooden tavern with warm lighting. The staff was pretty friendly and when we asked for a single drink between the two of us, they gave us two smaller glasses and split it which was nice. The beer itself was good. Nothing amazing but also pretty solid. The hazy was fresh and had a decent amount of haze. Overall a pretty good spot

Found a parking space, got out saw the building and went over. I've been visiting Philadelphia for a while and never made it here. I didn't know what I was missing the food was great. The server was delightful and nice to talk to. We had a nice evening and it was comfortable to be on the covereddeck at 8:30ish pm till we left.

Overall this is a fine place to hang out at, the food and drinks are decent. It’s on a street with lots of options. I like the upstairs area that’s a little quieter, and there’s only one small TV in the entire place and they usually can put a game on, but it’s not really a sports bar vibe.
